Cascade Peace Park

Saturday, September 11th, 2010 at 10 am 8900 Grand River Avenue
Cascade Peace Park is 198 acres of undeveloped land that was identified by Cascade Township as an environmentally area worthy of preservation due to numerous natural features such as wetlands, Grand River floodplain, mature forests, wildlife, scenic views and steep topography.
Cascade Peace Park is a natural park providing natural resource preservation, hiking, hunting, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, bird watching, and similar outdoor activities. An extensive system of trails is in place that allows ample opportunity to fully experience the beauty of the land.
The acquisition of this property was a cooperative effort of Cascade Charter Township, The Nature Conservancy, and The Michigan Department of Natural Resources.
